Brett Robinson Awards
The Brief
Brumbies are long term clients of EAVS, and we love being able to work with them throughout the year on a variety of presentations, award nights and activities.
The 2019 Brett Robinson Awards represents the culmination of the 2019 Brumbies season, and provides the opportunity to recognise outstanding achievements, both on and off the field.
EAVS were required to provide technical services throughout the evening, which consisted of welcome drinks and canapes, two course sit-down meal, entertainment, guest speakers, award presentations and a MC in the Great Room at the Canberra Rex Hotel.
Solution
All of the equipment for this Awards Night, including those needed for the room treatment (such as drapes and a custom gobo), were brought on site and installed by the EAVS team.
A Technical Director, 2 operators and a cameraman were onsite for the duration of the Awards Night to ensure the smooth running of the event.
The cameraman was responsible for capturing and transmitting the proceedings live to screen. This footage, along with slides and video was displayed on 2 large projection screens on the stage and 4 smaller LCD screens positioned throughout the room.
Upon completion of the event, the EAVS team remained onsite to immediately pack down and remove all equipment.
Outcome
All of our technical services were successfully delivered, ensuring that the 2019 Brett Robinson Awards were enjoyed by all that attended. And it wasn’t just us that thought so – our clients sent through this message to our team after the event.
